Pro-Life Community Urged To Pray For Dobbs Decision

Matthew 19:26b: “With God all things are possible.”

The Supreme Court of the United States is scheduled to hear oral arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization on December 1, 2021. In Dobbs, the Court will determine whether a 2018 Mississippi law that protects unborn babies from abortion after 15 weeks’ gestation passes constitutional muster. The Dobbs case gives the Supreme Court the opportunity to right the catastrophic wrong it committed in Roe v. Wade (1973), when the Court invented a so-called constitutional “right” to abortion. According to Family Research Council (FRC), Dobbs is “widely recognized as the greatest opportunity to overturn the Roe v. Wade decision in a generation.”

Given the intense pressure that the Court will face from the abortion industry and its allies to uphold or sidestep Roe, there is great need for prayer about the Dobbs case. It is no exaggeration to say that millions of lives hang in the balance.

On November 28, 2021, beginning at 8:00 PM EST, FRC will host a national prayer gathering for Dobbs at New Horizon Church in Jackson, Mississippi. Known as Pray Together for Life, the event will be broadcast live at PrayTogetherforLife.com. The Pray Together for Life event will “reach across ethnic, denominational, and even political lines to bring together believers who will cry out to heaven for a divine intervention” to overturn Roe and restore legal protection for the unborn in the United States. The event website offers pro-life resources, including a prayer guide and a publication on Biblical principles for pro-life engagement.

Leading up to the December 1 oral arguments, please keep this important case in prayer.
