On Tuesday, April 24, New Yorkers will visit the polls to fill vacancies in two State Senate seats and nine State Assembly seats.
The consequences of these special elections could be enormous. In particular, the race between Asm. Shelley Mayer (D-Yonkers) and former City of Rye Councilwoman and Deputy Mayor Julie Killian (R-Rye) could play a role in determining which party holds the Senate majority in the coming months and years.
Is a special election being held in your area? If so, please make it a priority to vote on April 24. Turnout in special elections can be quite low, making voter turnout very important for conservative candidates.
In addition, please pray for the upcoming special elections. Pray that the Lord would cause candidates who trust and obey Him to prevail. Pray that candidates who respect our Constitution, who value all innocent human life, and who cherish religious liberty will be elected. Pray that candidates with ungodly principles will have a change of heart.
