NYCF Hosts “Legislative Day 2021: A Digital Day of Action”

New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms (NYCF), New York’s statewide evangelical Christian advocacy organization, holds its first-ever Digital Day of Action today.

NYCF Executive Director Jason J. McGuire made the following comments: “For decades, New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms has held its annual Legislative Day in Albany on the third Tuesday in March. This year, COVID-19 and social distancing have prompted us to find new ways to connect with one another and to influence public policy in Albany. While an in-person Legislative Day is not possible, we look forward to holding our first-ever Digital Day of Action.”

McGuire continued, “NYCF’s Legislative Day livestream will include a video report from Albany, an online question-and-answer session, social media posts to be shared, and e-mail action alerts. The ninety-minute stream will feature information on COVID-19 policy, the latest developments in Albany, and pending legislation regarding the four policy areas in which we work: Protecting human life, promoting strong families, preserving religious liberty, and proclaiming justice and mercy.”

Throughout the day, the organization is poised to focus on:

“Christian New Yorkers and other allies are invited to participate in NYCF’s Digital Day of Action live or watch the replay at AlbanyUpdate.com. Given the controversy and corruption that are roiling at the New York State Capitol, a spiritual influence is badly needed in Albany.” McGuire concluded.
