March For Life 2022: Equality Begins In The Womb

New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms wishes our fellow New Yorkers a happy and blessed New Year.

As we ring in 2022, we wish to make our brothers and sisters in Christ aware of an upcoming pro-life event.

On January 21, 2022, the annual March for Life will be held in Washington, D.C. As the event’s website indicates, “every year, tens of thousands of pro-lifers converge on the National Mall and march on Capitol Hill on the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling which legalized abortion in all 50 states.” The purpose of the March is to “celebrate life from the moment of conception to the moment of natural death, and every moment in between,” and to “envision a world where every life is celebrated, valued, and protected.” The theme of the 2022 March is “Equality Begins in the Womb.” More information about the March for Life can be found at MarchforLife.org.

The March for Life is an uplifting and worthwhile endeavor. It is important for our nation to see a public witness for life in our nation’s capital. In 2022, the event will take on an added meaning in light of the pending case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which the pro-life community hopes and prays will lead the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade.

New Yorkers who are available are encouraged to visit Washington, D.C. and attend the March. If you cannot attend, please take time on January 21 to join the marchers in praying for an end to abortion.
