Christian students across the country have a special opportunity to share their faith at school next month. Thursday, October 4 is Bring Your Bible to School Day!
On Bring Your Bible to School Day, students “celebrate religious freedom and share God’s love with their friends.” Sponsored by Focus on the Family, the event empowers students to express their faith “in a respectful way that demonstrates the love of Christ.” Bring Your Bible to School Day participation “is voluntary and student-directed—meaning it’s completely up to students, Christian clubs and youth groups to sign up online and then lead the activities in their school.” Students in all grades (K-12) may participate. The Bring Your Bible to School Day website (BringYourBible.org) provides a free “get-started guide,” answers to frequently asked questions, advice on how to handle opposition, and ideas for pre-event activities and follow-up activities. Sadie Robertson, whose family appeared in the A&E reality series Duck Dynasty, is the Honorary Chair for Bring Your Bible to School Day 2018.
If you know any students that love the Lord, please encourage them to participate in Bring Your Bible to School Day 2018. For more information, or to sign up, please visit BringYourBible.org.
